At Brevard County Public Schools,

have opportunities to be highly effective in their jobs, especially as they communicate with our customers. Our stakeholders base their perception of our performance on the experiences they’ve had with our employees. Sometimes the interaction someone has with one employee can form a negative or positive opinion of our entire school system.
Every day you are representing Brevard County Public Schools. First impressions come from attempts to communicate with you. This booklet may help you to keep informed of our district’s policies and procedures regarding the appropriate use of the telephone, voice mail and email in your workplace.
This booklet contains valuable information regarding expectations in the area of communication so that all of our employees will model consistent practices in order to present a positive and professional face to our customers, both internal and external.
