  Where is information on the Bright Futures Scholarships located?
The Florida Bright Futures Scholarship Program rewards students for their academic achievements during high school by providing funding to attend a postsecondary institution in Florida. For more information, visit: http://www.floridastudentfinancialaid.org/SSFAD/bf/.
   What are the graduation requirements for students with disabilities?
Two options are available only to students with disabilities. Both require the 26 credits listed and both allow students to substitute a career and technical (CTE) course with related content for one credit in ELA IV, mathematics, science and social studies (exclud- ing Algebra I, Geometry, Biology I and U.S. History).
• Students with significant cognitive disabilities may earn credits via access courses and be assessed via an alternate assessment.
• Students who choose the academic and employment option must earn at least 0.5 credit via paid employment.
  Where is information on financial aid located?
The Office of Student Financial Assistance State Programs administers a variety of postsecondary educational state-funded grants and scholarships. To learn more, visit: http://www.floridastudentfinancialaid.org/.
 Earn While You Learn: Tuition-free
 Space Coast Machinist Apprenticeship Program, Inc. (SCMAP) is a four year, Florida State-Certified 8,000 hour on the job training (OJT) program that teaches people how to make parts at local manufacturing companies.
· Classes – one night per week at EFSC Cocoa
· OJT – full-time machining job at local manufacturer
SCMAP completion provides:
Career = extensive training, high skill, high wage work experience Advancement = supervisory opportunities; advanced pay Journeyman machinist certificate = recognized everywhere in USA No tuition bills and four years’ work experience = independent living
      REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum age: 18 or older, High School Diploma or GED, Driver’s License, and able to do machining work.
