• Science Tutoring for students in grades 4th and 5th. Students participate hands-on science labs and activities to incorporate state science standards.
• Harmony Social Emotional Learning curriculum is utilized in Kindergarten to help support their social and emotional needs during their morning meetings.
• Fountas and Pinnell Guided Reading curriculum is used in our primary grades to support ELA.
• Write Score is a program used to strengthen writing
skills in grades 3-6. Students do a mock writing assessment twice a year that mimics the FSA writing assessment.
Academic Excellence
• Turner has 0 ESSA subgroups reported to the state for low performance.
• We are comprised of a team of 50 instructional staff members, 40% of which have an advanced degree.
