Describe the culture of
Cape View Elementary:
The school’s name, Cape View, is derived from having the best view of the Cape for it’s beautiful rocket launches. The school’s eastern border and outdoor play area overlooks Cherie Down Park. Teachers and student welcome the roar of the Space Coast’s many rocket launches with excitement right from our own backyard! Cape View is surrounded by many facets of the space industry and hosts our very own Science Lab named after Winston E. Scott (NASA astronaut). The Cape View family works to cultivate a learning environment and culture that engages students, families and the Cape Canaveral and Cocoa Beach Community.
