Applauding Brevard’s Champions
Tonight, we publicly recognize Brevard County’s educators, administrators, support personnel, and volunteers who have demonstrated a culture of excellence with their contributions and dedication to our students. We couldn’t continue to grow as a school district without these everyday heroes. Fulfilling our mission to equip children for the future is no easy task. It requires focus and skill, but also patience, perseverance and passion. Each of tonight’s honorees exemplifies these characteristics and more. They contribute to a culture of excellence in Brevard Public Schools and the entire community.
The ABC Awards (Applauding Brevard’s Champions) celebrates Brevard Public Schools’ exceptional employees and volunteers, who through their talents and gifts help students make the most of their education for the prospects that lie ahead. We are truly inspired by these champions. Whether their influence resides at their school, their department or throughout the district, they each deserve our applause for their accomplishments.
Over 300 nominations were cast for the awards and special recognitions being presented tonight. Each nomination reflects the values expected in our community, which expects the best from its public schools. From this group, finalists and winners were selected by committees to represent Brevard Public Schools as Administrators of the Year, Volunteers of the Year, Rookie Teacher of the Year, Emerging Teacher of the Year, Employee of the Year and Teacher of the Year.
Brevard Schools Foundation in partnership with Brevard Public Schools is proud to host the 12th Annual ABC Awards. This event would not be possible without the generosity of our sponsors and we extend our heartfelt thanks to them for their support.
