Ulumay Sanctuary Seining

Time to put on your water shoes, and head out to the Ulumay sanctuary! Join Naturalists and explore the Indian River Lagoon waters Þrst hand, with seine nets, dip nets, and more! We will be meeting Þrst at the Sams house, and then traveling together to the site.
Creatures of the Lagoon
Saturday, August 12th, 11:00am to 12:00pm Learn about our lagoon critters with arts and crafts! Create your own lagoon puppet, and send it on a adventure around the Sams House.
Lagoon Science Series
Part 1- Something Fishy

Learn all about Þsh, inside and out! We will be discussing and exploring Þsh anatomy with a dissection. Be sure to wear closed toe shoes, safety Þrst!
Part 2- Itty Bitty Discovery

Get ready to get messy as we learn about the wonderful tiny animals living in at the bottom of the Indian River Lagoon. Explore what it really means to be a scientist, and have fun too!
Cruickshank Sanctuary Hike

Join Master Naturalist Mark Prynoski at the Cruickshank Sanctuary for an adventure into the Scrub. Be sure to bring water, sunscreen and your best hiking boots!
