Councils/Steering Committees
NACDD works to reduce the impact of advocating for preventive policies and programs, encouraging knowledge sharing and developing partnerships for health promotion. NACDD has Councils and projects that address the needs of speci c chronic diseases to advance prevention efforts and provide professional development for chronic disease staff.
NACDD Councils and Committees offer Members the opportunity to network with their peers, gain leadership experience, and provide their voice as thought leaders in the national dialogue on chronic disease prevention and control and health promotion.
