The judge, young breeder, Tom Maudsley of the
Littlebank Herd, chose as his Male and Supreme
Champion, Criffel View Romeo, from David and Lynn
Watret. This mostly black son of Greystone Noveltee
caught the eye of Messrs. Baillie, Newton Stewart, who
secured him for 7,000gns.
Following closely behind, was Almeley Raikonen, a
powerful white son of Almeley Wellington from the
Morgan family, who sold for 6,500gns, to G Hughes,
Darlington.
Topping the females was the Female and Reserve Overall
Champion, Top Side Sabrina from Ross & Elaine Pattinson.
This black and white heifer was sired by Naby Golddust
and sold to Robert Orr, West Lothian for 5,500gns. Also,
from the same home and by the same sire, was Top Side
Snazzy Lady who sold for 3,800gns to Gary Allen, Bicester.
Selling at 4,000 gns was Stonebyres Sasha from Blair &
Shona Comrie, this Kersey Geronimo daughter sold to
Messrs. Hunter, Annan. Also, from the same stable was
Stonebyres Sapphire at 3,800 gns. This one was sired by
Clinton Du Falgi and sold to Messrs. Harvey, Suffolk.
