We will proceed with rescheduling and cancellations as planned and advised in the supposedly (virtual) 20 emails in the last week ..... I can only find 5, all which seemed pretty straightforward. We're broke and have to make cuts unless lessees pay their dues. Simple as that. No big deal. I'm happy and so are those who've paid their £2000 which at midday they'll get back.
Hooray - exactly as Management had always advised - only spend what we have. Thank you.
The rest of your comments etc are simply too inaccurate, ignorant and silly to respond to.
Followed up minutes later with this further reply/comment copied to all lessees:
With reference to Flat 9's email regarding, in part, supposedly NOT having scheduled in the Terrazzo floor and numerous other non-sensical queries most of which are Management's business.
***Is it any of my business if Flat 9 have retained your contractor to do work inside their own flat. I don't think so. Please find attached 4 pdfs, A, B, & C & D
A_ refers to pp38 of the December 2013 approved Surveyor's Specifications - online at www.mitrehouse.org since 17 December 2013 and advised to all lessees and forwarded to all lessees, in some cases, innumerable times.
You will note under the requirement of the wet abrasive system. (page 38_10.2.8)
B_refers to notification from our Surveyor dated 27 February 2014 regarding Tenders and recommending A.R. Lawrence.
You will note one reservation pointed out by our surveyor being A.R. Lawrence only providing the less effective chemical clean (for £2971 plus vat etc plus contingencies). This along with ALL other relevant documentation was made instantly available online at www.mitrehouse.org since 28 February 2014 and advised to all lessees multiple times as regards the fact that the Surveyor's specs do not include many items expected/requested by some lessees for years.
C_refers to a Management sourced quote from AHB dated 5 March 2014 for the wet abrasive system and like every other relevant document made available to view online since 5th March 2014 to those capable of understanding numerous email notifications.
You will note this quote also includes a professional cleaning of all brassworks/furniture throughout Mitre House and a professional intensive steam clean/jet spray of the external lift cage. All for £4655 plus vat.

If, as would appear from Flat 9's usual innuendo and total ignorance of what Management is attempting to achieve economically, sensibly and to the satisfaction and expectation of as many lessees as possible, they or anyone else did NOT wish to have a wet abrasive superb floor clean, let us know please.
And please, no more pathetic and brain dead comments that you wanted/expected your contractor to do ALL works, no matter the cost, no matter the ability. It simply shows your complete ignorance of how things in the real world operate as even your contractor or indeed any other would be the first to agree.
This is all now purely academic as the Terrazzo clean is now totally cancelled due to lack of funds. It'll get the usual mop and bucket rub down for nothing. And those lucky lessees who have paid their £2000 dues get a full refund. Ain't life grand?
*** Probably not, but just wasting their time as they did when they had their own contractors quote for the entire works (Grangewood_23/24 June 2014) but never told anybody the figures quoted - my guess would have been well in excess of £250,000 - and Diego, you kept them waiting 24 hours requiring two visits, and even A.R. Lawrence were made to wait 20 minutes - that's 20 minutes they can't afford to waste on snooping type queries under the guise of required works, when Management have serious and important items to discuss on your's and all lessees behalf - so please, no more wasting anybody's time most especially mine.
