CHOLARSHIPAWARDS
CHOLARSHIPAWARDS
Institute of Art & Design’s Aisles of Eden came third, with The Surrey Institute of Art & Design’s ambitious period drama Ninety Days - starring Kate Winslet’s obviously very talent- ed younger sister, Beth - fourth.
After a morning spent handing out the awards, supporting their friends and colleagues and watching the win- ning short films the assembled stu- dents and staff settled down to watch all fifteen entries after a typically hos- pitable and always well presented hearty BAFTA luncheon, enjoying a glimpse into what, hopefully, will be a bright filmmaking future for them all and certainly a day they will remember for years to come. ■ Anwar Brett
