ollowing their BAFTA Awards last year for The Government Inspector, writer-director Peter Kosminsky, production compa- ny Mentorn and C4 have re-
united for Britz.
The two-part drama, telling the
story of a young Muslim brother (played by Riz Ahmed) and sister (Manjinder Virk) in today’s Britain whose divergent life experiences see them veer in radically different direc- tions, marks Kosminsky’s first fiction- al TV project.
Scheduled to air in the autumn, Britz is being shot in the UK and Hyderabad by DP David Higgs on 16mm Fujicolor Eterna 250T 8653 and Eterna 250D 8663. Higgs previ- ously worked with Kosminsky on The Government Inspector as well as The Project and Innocents. ■

Goodbye&Good Luck
M any of you will have spoken with our
Customer Service expert Jackie Spadaccini over the past 19 years that she has
worked with us. We are sorry to say that Jackie has decided to move on to green- er pastures and will finish up on Friday 9th March. Jackie has been a valued member of the Motion Picture team
and she will be sorely missed. We wish her well in whatever she decides to do and we thank her for her hard work and fun times over the years.
Replacing Jackie is semi-pro photographer Steve Jones. Steve has worked in our pro stills film department for three years and will become an integral part of the Motion Picture team.
Check out some of Steve’s work at www.stevejonesimages.com

hat was meant to be a small gathering of DP’s, industry suppliers and the Fuji team, ended up being a heaving crowd of friends and col-
leagues that we’d worked with over the past 18 months. We were delighted to see so many DP’s turn up – Chris Seager BSC (who was the first to arrive!), Harvey Harrison BSC, Oliver Curtis BSC, Witold Stok BSC, Mike Eley, Garry Turnbull and Alessandra Scherillo to name but a few.
Thanks to everyone for putting up with being slightly cramped and sweaty, and we promise to hire a bigger room this Christmas! ■
