main TV access (freeview, digital terrestrial etc PLUS a lead to be ever used for sky/satellite
if you ever want it (you'd still need a dish installed but no wiring).
We get all this for £3900 all in, payable from the reserves so long as reserves are funded as requested and the, during the four quarters for 2015 we can claw back the cost (£433 per flat) by adding £108 to each quarter's demands for 4 quarters.
Not too bad for a neat set up, into both rooms, tv and satellite if ever needed, and no redundant cabling back and front of the building or rubbish on roof.
BUT someone will have to be around to let the engineers in each flat to do the drilling and box fitting (45 mins max) - I'll try and the two dates they want to come and advise. All our televisions would be interrupted somewhat for 48 hours!
The idea of having the extra sky/satellite lead to each room is to avoid additional loose cabling in the future from people who decide to install a dish etc - then we're back to square one - hanging cables of Babylon....
To date, I think, I'm presuming Flats 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 are happy to proceed - how about Flats 1 and 9 - let me know please or make clear if I'm incorrect on any flat.
Paul
PS and yes it will be very noisy drilling and a bit dirty.... but hopefully bearable and worth the effort.
