etc... certainly Flat 9 do not entertain the idea of nudes and coming as they do from Italy they must walk around with blindfolds when visiting the 'ole country. One feels that the other items, in your parlance, cheap and tacky, bad taste etc, would also come under consideration, namely the plants, topiary, hanging basket, clock and mirror - let alone the odd dead plant and plastic flowers.... I agree it sounds more like a cheap Pensione on La Cote D'Azur than a smart residence in Chelsea.... if only Mitre House were a smart residence in Chelsea - it ain't, it's above a parade of shops opposite McDonald's on Kings Road. Thank your lucky stars that Management have the imagination, panache and flair to turn it into something interesting instead of neutral, bland, predictable, boring, cold and informal - and send Estate Agents into ecstasy when showing or viewing as to it's uniqueness amongst a sea of mediocrity.
If this nonsense persists, I can assure you the gloves will come off and yes, Management might turn themselves into the LVT and seek political asylum.

PS - As ever, confused - my studio/office in your parlance is at 71 Berwick Street and has been, since our lease expired at 4 Margaret Street on 30 September 2012, prior to that we were in Noel Street, prior to that Carlisle Street, prior to that Soho Square and prior to that since inception in 1969, Beak Street.

To Management Attention Paul
For the avoidance of misunderstanding I will clarify what the majority of the lessees want.
· Not “a good Terrazzo floor and polish “but a professional renovation . See document attached.
· Management insists on imposing its views despite the majority requesting, for the last year and half, a professional refurbishment, supervised by a professional contractor for the reasons stated previously.
· Out of the blue, for the first time, Management has decided to have a very “expensive, extensive External refurbishment”. The lessees have never seen a proposal for this work nor a surveyor’s schedule ........ The majority of the lessees want to appoint a surveyor of their choice and not necessarily one that Management wants to impose. This should not come as a surprise since the majority of lessees have now lost total confidence in the present management. You keep forgetting than you only own 1/9 of the building.
· Re the common parts: you have been asked to remove all your belongings which are offensive, tatty and cheap. We understand that since you closed your office you need to store your work and office furniture but the common parts of Mitre house are not a storage place. So can you please arrange for your belongings to be removed immediately.
· Attached is the quote for the interior refurbishment voted by the majority of lessees, so please understand that this is not negotiable and is our final position .Would you wish to proceed with your proposed refurbishment ,you should refer the matter to the LVT .If you go head you would risk being held personally liable for any monies spent..

Subject: Section 20 - Consultation Period
Dear Lessees,
Ref: End of Consultation period for 7 January dated Section 20 (1) re: Internals
All comments etc are now in from interested Lessees and Management can report that five Lessees make clear their NON agreement to Management's Section 20 Schedule Of Works, which was for the minimally required works required under the terms of the Headlease, and awaiting comment, suggestions etc within 30 days.
Consequently, there remains as ever, disagreement, as Management's (3 of four) directors prefer a minimal approach. Flat 1 made no comment.
