The new Motorola M2M digital radio appeared. Finally, a major player such as Moto would add stability to the M2M radio market, or so we thought.
But nope, that wasn’t the case. We shipped about 500 to 1,000 of these to the eld before Moto announced it would
sell its M2M radio division to a company named Telit.
At the time, we never heard of Telit, an international
company, and unrest in the radio market continued. CMM8900
