Rumors started circulating that Enfora was exiting the OEM M2M radio market, so we revisited the Telit line. Telit had advanced a lot since the acquisition of Motorola, and we started to design for the Telit radio.
Telit had a smart design. Then 2G, 3G, 4GLite (Dbl-check this word) radios all set in the same footprint and programmed the same.
This turned out to be another good decision for OmniSite. We ship Telit radios in our products to this day.
Telit also acquired the Enfora/Novatel product line. The radio shown here is the Enfora radio rela bled under the Telit name.
We bought just a few Enfora radios under the Telit name before changing to a more advanced Telit design.
