The Viper
Meet the OmniSite Viper. This product was created practically in tandem with the new XR50 development. It is a stepped-down version of an XR50 that sells at a lower cost.
It was made to be a more a ordable alternative for customers needing to replace their analog XR50 with a new digital XR50 (which could
communicate on the new digital cellular networks).
Customers liked the name “Viper,” and with their feedback, it was redesigned into a simple-to-use kit product. (The following pages show the Viper’s changes over
the years.)
