A New Company is Born

In (Date?) OmniSite started a new company, Pumpalarm.com, to sell a cellular residential sump pump alarm shown here. We purchased a house in the Southport, Indiana, area and moved in only four key employees: Tom Ward, Casey Hampton, David Brown, and Andy Wolsi er.
At this location, the PitBoss device was developed. It was sold online through Verizon
Wireless’ sales representatives and at more than 100 Home Depot stores.
During the time of the PitBoss development,
we were approached by Verizon Wireless to
become a direct cellular developer/partner. We successfully navigated that transition and broke
away from Kore Telematics. We now had two cellular suppliers: Verizon and Kore.
