13. Enfora was later acquired by Novatel and slightly changed their design. Again, we used this successfully for a few years. OmniSite continues to shrink the size but increase the power!
14. Rumors started circulating that Enfora was exiting the OEM M2M radio market, so we revisited the Telit line. Telit had advanced a lot since the acquisition of Motorola, and we started to design for the Telit radio.
Telit had a smart design. Then 2G, 3G, 4GLite radios all set in the same footprint and programmed the same. This turned out to be another good decision for OmniSite. We ship Telit radios in our products to this day.
Telit also acquired the Enfora/Novatel product line. The radio shown here is the Enfora radio relabeled under the Telit name.
We bought just a few Enfora radios under the Telit name before changing to a more advanced Telit design.
15. For a short time, Telit sold the then recently acquired Motorola radio designs, and within one year discontinued all Moto designs and o ered only the Telit-designed radios. Basically, Telit bought the Moto product line for the accompanying patents. Then it absorbed the patents
and killed the Moto line.
