Moving made sense from a business perspective, but more than that this place spoke to Ward. “The building has a lot of character. I also liked that here’s this high-tech company and it’s located within a very old building,” he says. (And it didn’t hurt that the building came at a good price and the land was “extremely a ordable.”)
“I just really like old things; I’m the type person who doesn’t like throwing old things away if they’re still working,” Ward says.
Even though the building had long been retired, Ward believed it still had a lot of life left in it — if given a chance. It also had too much history to be torn down and forgotten.
