OUR SOLUTION
ANGELES HOUSE FAMILY CENTER:
OUR VISION IS REALIZED
No child should be forced to grow up on the dangerous, unforgiving streets of Los Angeles. In 2022, Union Rescue Mission opened Angeles House Family Center, a three-story, 75,000 square-foot facility in the heart of South Central Los Angeles to provide safe housing and supportive services for up to 86 families who are unsheltered.
Angeles House addresses many of the issues around homelessness in Los Angeles, Skid Row and surrounding areas.
Dads, moms, and children have a safe place to live while they receive counseling, training, encouragement, and the real help they need to escape homelessness forever. Through long-term
rehabilitation programs, services, and spiritual care, families can transition from homelessness to independence within 6 to 12 months.
