With high demand for the Curado DC, Shimano
created the SLX DC to introduce anglers to the some technology at lower price point to encourage anglers
to take that next step. The DC uses the same I-DC4 technology to control the spool and the signature HAGANE frame, with the only tangible difference
being both X-Ship and Micromodule gearing have been excluded to differentiate between the two models. Anglers wanting to gain extra distance with their casts, using either softbaits or lures will want to check out the new SLX DC.
