The new Xseat makes maximum use of the rods performance. Entering the angler’s intention and feeling the answer from the fish grip is an important terminal for that. Shimano pursues the “grip ease” required in each scene, and forms a novel idea.
This is the next generation of guide performance.
X Guide Aero Titanium is a lightweight titanium hollow frame equipped with Shimano original special surface finish, lightweight thin metal ring with high strength and high wear resistance. The smooth round frame with no corners or irregularities smoothes the line resistance, reducing trouble and reducing damage to the line even if the line hits the frame during casting. Furthermore, by mounting a large diameter ring in a compact frame designed by 3D technology, the line release resistance and air-resistance at the time of casting are reduced, and the cast feel and distance performance are improved.
Crafted strong from the core
Shimano’s original basic structure spiral X, which enhances rod performance from the root, uses carbon tape made of high-strength resin realized by nanoalloy technology We have achieved even higher strength with selected materials. Achieved 1.4 times torsional strength and 2.5 times crush strength (compared to our general structure). Furthermore, even in comparison with Spiral X, it achieved a 10% increase in torsional strength and a 15% increase in crushing strength.
Lightness and high sensitivity created by hollow structure that changes the standard of sensitivity
Carbon monocoque grip is a new level of high sensitivity for rods with the innovative idea
of hollowing the rear grip by carbon integral molding. We have acquired an unprecedented ability to transmit information, and have gained unprecedented lightness and sensitivity.
