Shimano’s Tiagra Hyper game rods have those desired custom features and performance, but at an off the rack price.
The new X5 blanks these rods are built on have a reduced diameter, but higher torsional twist resistance and greater resistance to overloading.
The Hyper series also features the strongest game fishing componentry available. Rollers are Aftco, with oversized tips. Butt configurations on both the 37 and 60kg chair rods are Aftco Unibutts. Foregrips are Winn polymer that provide the custom build look and function, but without the price.
