Power Pro’s Enhanced Body Technology (EBT) utilises original processing. The additional line treatment/processing results in an overall improvement in line toughness, abrasion resistance, and fights line dig in comparison to Spectra line.
X Tough Cross incorporates a tight weave construction, which improves overall linear strength and knot strength. Another advantage is that it lowers elongation and heightens sensitivity, making it perfect for high-end fishing.
Spectra is recognised as the premium braided fishing line fibre. Spectra lasts twice as long in abrasion testing as comparable material.
A primary benefit of using polyurethane coatings is the protection it provides the surface. It creates what is essentially an impermeable barrier between the elements and the object it’s covering.
Fibre is weaved evenly at all angles, resulting in a smoother finish, reduced diameter, and ultimately a longer cast by the angler.

Shimano’s 3X body combines materials with a reinforced design, giving higher impact resistance and three times the strength compared to a standard design.
This unique system adopts a moving spring weight. At the moment of the cast, it slides to the back of the lure, creating centrifugal force. This accelerates the lure, and during flight it stays straighter and is more direct, resulting in on average a 20% improvement in casting distance as well as higher accuracy. Upon landing, the spring shifts the weight forward and the lure regains its balance and action.
The X AR-C System combines the ground-breaking AR-C Propulsion Weight Transfer System with the AR-C Shell Body Design. The AR-C Body uses a foam resin material that naturally floats. Due to this, the lure can be manufactured with thicker walls and fewer air pockets, which makes it heavier and slimmer, improving casting distance.
