October holds many delights. Love apple picking and watching the permissions ripen from yellow to gold. More to do in the garden than I have time for. Perhaps because I loved going to school writing workshops appeal even more. We plan to try making compost in a bucket and try a few Asian radishes. So, my column comes as a list of many of the events I plan to attend. If you are
a writer, Dan Coshnear’s workshop comes as such a treat. We laugh, read and discuss short fiction and each other’s work. Of all writing teachers, Coshnear ranks the top of my list. Hope to see you.
National Coffee with a Cop, October 3rd: Come for a chat and free cuppa at Sweet Expectations, 8099 La Plaza across from the park’s kids’ playground. The chats tend to be lively, friendly, and useful. What a fine time for learning about and understanding challenges our peace officers face.
