Greta made me Read the Bible
We are currently blessed with low rates so I am
able to help several clients refinance their brand new homes as they finish building and move back to their neighborhoods. Often with higher overall property values which gives more options so that we can get them into a more beneficial loan that will serve their short and long term financial goals better. This feels like a rebirth of sorts and is wonderful and very exciting to be a part of. I have always loved working with first time homebuyers because they are so grateful and excited. The clients who have recently completed building are even more excited and even more grateful than those first time buyers.

Greta Thunberg, we hear, The obvious becomes clear, Those fat uncaring old men, Should be banished again, Forty years minimum. Nature has a plan,
She gets it.
Political types are dumb, On the spirit of wisdom, And understanding, they are mum,
the survival of man,
is our own undoing.
“Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them,
for the kingdom of (earth) belongs to such as these”.
So I am feeling reflective and nostalgic as I look back at this time of year but also extremely optimistic with an eye to the future. I sincerely believe that we are stronger and better as friends and neighbors in this county we love. My hope for the future is that we don’t forget this feeling and we hang onto it, harness it and use it to help make this an even better place to live for us now and for future generations.
They defied God’s word, That skeptical herd. He came and asked, Where is your humility? And, what of humanity. The little children, are to inherit
I am excited to see what is around the corner and what will we do together in the future. I am excited and grateful that I get to help so many families
in my chosen profession, especially now as I get to be a positive part of the rebuilding process.
This earth.
The children shall lead. The rest of you can wander Around the wilderness For your foul deed. Forty years no bliss. The children prospered, They got the wonder,
Of it all.

Recovery from fire. Here we are just past the 2 year mark
on the Tubbs Fire here in Sonoma County. That was a truly horrific time for everyone in the county. Everyone in the county experienced loss on some level. Everyone in the county knows someone that suffered a direct loss and we banded together to heal and overcome and that makes us stronger but it took us down a few notches before we were able to rebuild emotionally and rebuild our homes and communities.
I did not lose my home but many friends and clients did and it is hard as
a Mortgage Strategist with a dedication to his clients to have them ask me questions like; “If our house burned down, do we still need to make the mortgage payment?” It was not until the Kincade fire this year that I realized what an emotional toll that fire took on myself and my family and everyone physically or emotionally close to those who lost so much.
I have watched as friends and clients have gone through ups and downs with insurance companies and builders and permits and emotions and many people now know how to navigate this maze. Neighbors and friends are sharing this information and our communities are stronger because of it. Many of us know now that we do indeed need to keep making the mortgage payments and the insurance company will pay for temporary housing while you rebuild. We have resident experts in working with contractors and insurance claims adjusters and all the myriad of things we never knew how to do before the fires.
Every NEW YEAR makes us feel there is NEW Opportunity. Hold that thought. YES... everything is possible if you set goals and put energy into it!
