Installations will be on display from 30 days to no more than one year, depending on the project.
This opportunity was open to artists or artist teams to create and install temporary art installations addressing the 2017 Northern California Wildfires. The first round of funding supported four temporary projects—each with a maximum budget of $4,000—that took place between October 2018 and April 2019.
The same level of funding was made available for the second round of the project, with the goal of continuing to support artists to produce and present community-based projects in response to the fires that activate public spaces.
