This is Boseman’s third biopic in a row after playing Jackie Robinson in “42” and James Brown in “Get On Up”. This film focuses on early in the Supreme Court Justice’s career. Another opening October 13th is “Goodbye Christopher Robin”. Few know the story behind the childhood staple, Winnie- the-Pooh. Set just after World War I, this story follows author A.A. Milne, who’s returned from war damaged and downtrodden. Opening October 6th is “The Mountain Between Us” starring Idris Elba and Kate Winslet. It’s about a surgeon and photojournalist fight fortheir lives and falling in love. Finally, opening October 27th is “Thank You For Your Service” starring Miles Teller in a true story about the scars of war and the struggle to reacclimate to postwar life.
For my live theater fans we have the world premiere of David Templeton’s “Mary Shelley’s Body” starring Sheri Lee Miller at Main Stage West in Sebastopol. Opens October 13th and ends October 29th.
