Other Dining and Wine Tasting Opportunities
Information below is accurate at the time of writing; however, as we all know, things are morphing quickly in this time of Covid-19. Information on websites is often not correct or updated as things change rapidly. Due to State and County regulations, assume that all customers must wear masks while moving through indoor areas and all must maintain social distancing of at least 6 feet. Restrictions on party sizes, necessary precautions, and operating hours may change abruptly. However, restaurants are generally not requiring the wearing of masks while at tables while seated with your family group. Diavola’s is offering very limited seating in their rear patio area, along with a very
perky to-go business. While it isn’t quite the same as sitting within the delightful brick-walled dining area, their pizzas have been a special and cheerful treat in getting me through this time. Their to-go cocktails have lived up to their name - they may be gone by the time you order, as they often sell out. Hours are shorter than normal, closing most nights at 8pm, so order well ahead of that time as it may be harder to get through by phone due to limited staffing. Call (707) 814-0111.
Catelli’s is providing dining and they are making full use of their spacious and beautiful back patio areas. Because of this, they are probably the best local bet for a slightly larger socially-distanced party. They are presently open from Noon to 8pm Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday, Noon to 8:30pm on Friday and Saturday. Catelli’s also offer food to go; call (707) 857-3471. You can check out their menu at http://mycatellis.com.
Rustic at Coppola’s - is offering dining from Noon until 7pm daily. Reservations are required, only four people can be in your party, and there is no walk-in seating. Call (707) 857-1471 to make your reservation; book well ahead if possible.
Duo Tasting Room at Geyserville Inn - Call for information at 707 814-0048. Virginia Dare - is working on reopening but is still closed as of this writing in late
June; they should be operating in July. Call (707) 251-3282 for updates.
Coppola’s - is offering wine tasting by reservation only from Noon until 5pm daily.
Call (707) 857-1471 to schedule your visit.
Pech Merle Winery Tasting Lounge - This award-winning winery named for
the magical illustrated caves in France is offering wine tasting by reservation. Call
(707) 891-3015 for hours and options.
Zialena - Open by reservation only for outdoor tastings on the patio. They are
taking reservations by CellarPath and by phone at (707) 955-5992 Open every day 10-4:30pm and you can enjoy Field and Farm Board food with your tasting; please reserve at least 48 hours in advance for food options.
Locals - One of the last free wine tasting options, local favorite Locals is open by reservation Monday, Thursday, and Saturday from 11am-5pm presenting the best of ten different local wineries. They are not open the other four days of the week at this time, but that will change as summer unfolds. Call (707) 857-4900 to claim your space.
Ramazzotti Wines - This cherished local winery which shares space with Mercury just reopened for wine tasting daily by appointment 11am-5pm; last seating at 3:30pm. (707) 814-0016
Mercury Wines - Wine tasting daily by appointment with seating in back patio and indoors. Call (707) 857-9870 to enjoy this French-bistro style tasting room.
Stay safe, stay healthy, stay happy! We are all being given the chance to hit our own internal “reset” button with this unusual time that is unfolding around us. May we all enjoy new insights and understanding and may our lives be richer for it.
