George V. Although the Clock Tower celebrates the life of the King, it also marks the beginning of a new era. It is quite possible that neither Commissioner Cardinall nor the people of that day could have imagined the magnitude of their legacy.

Albert Bodden (Capt. Albert Bodden’s son)
Lindsey Thompson (Sunbeam Thompson’s brother) Rayal Bodden (head man / supervisor)

William Potts & Sons, Guildford Clock Works, Burley, Leeds 4 (UK) 1937
