Annual Events Summer Summit
The Summer Summit emerged out of the Great Recession, as members requested a leadership retreat that focused on family time, networking with peers and speakers for the benefit of all attendees in a resort setting. The two-day Summer Summit offers healthy competition through a golf and sporting clays outing plus fun and relaxing excursions for the entire family.
Annual Meeting and Honors Program
PACA holds its annual meeting each fall in Hershey, Pennsylvania. This event serves as the organization’s business meeting and awards program and is a time for members to receive updates from state agencies. Members also have the opportunity to elect their leadership
in the organization during the annual business meeting(s) of both the producer (active) members and associate members.
Superintendent Education Workshop and Quarry Tour
An annual event focused on the backbone of
the aggregates industry—our superintendents!
A half-day educational program on all subjects that truly make a superintendent including equipment, personnel, regulatory, quality control, community relations and more. It also includes
a quarry tour to expose superintendents to best practices across the commonwealth. A singular opportunity to learn, network with peers and experience other operations firsthand.
Underground Stone Conference
PACA holds an annual underground conference in the fall with National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, industry and academia representatives presenting on topics like roof control, geologic hazards, best management practices, etc.
