To mark our 40th anniversary, we are releasing Legacy, a new set of previously unreleased recordings from live performances. Legacy is quintessential Susquehanna Chorale — gorgeous music that evokes memories and has great meaning to both singers and audiences alike. Many of these pieces will be featured in this season’s concerts.
Together, the Legacy recordings and concert programming celebrate the relationship between our audiences and the hundreds of singers who have been a part of the Chorale family. Through the voice of every singer in our organization, we remain deeply committed to artistic excellence and sharing the beauty and inspiration of choral music with others.

~ “A SEASON TO CELEBRATE!” continued from page 1
of Leslie Leyland Fields’ poem, Let the Stable Still Astonish, composed in honor of our 40th anniversary. Former singers will be invited to sing with us at the Christmas and spring concerts, and receptions will be held after each concert.
Another much-anticipated addition to our 40th Anniversary season is the release of Legacy, a new 2-CD set of previously unreleased recordings from live performances.
Legacy: A Candlelight Christmas
will feature favorite selections
from past Christmas concerts, and Legacy: A Season to Celebrate! will include a varied program of sacred and secular music from past spring concerts. Many of the selections will be performed in our 40th anniversary concerts.
We are also compiling a 40th anniversary book which captures the history, memories, and pictures from four decades. This book will be available at our spring concerts or through the office.
To conclude our season, we will embark on a third international tour, this time to Krakow and Vienna! We are thrilled about our repertoire, our itinerary, and the opportunity to sing for an international audience.
Together, the Legacy recordings and concert programming honor and celebrate the relationship between our audiences and the hundreds of singers who have been a part of the Chorale family. Through the voice of every singer in our organization, we remain deeply committed to artistic excellence and sharing the beauty and inspiration of choral music with others.
