1 AもBも‘both A and B’; ‘A as well as B’
Recall that ~も adds an object to a list of objects, not a quality.
1. このしゃしんは、おもしろいです。あのしゃしんも、おもしろいです。
‘This photo is amusing. That photo, too, is amusing.’
Multiple noun phrases strung together with ~も mean that the statement holds true with each one of the objects.
2. このしゃしんも、あのしゃしんも、おもしろいです。
‘Both this photo and that photo are amusing.’
3. 大学のじゅぎょうりょうも、アパートのやちんも、高そうです。
4. きのうも、今日も、ボルティモアでかじがありました。
5. ハイウェイ66も、ハイウェイ495も、じこで、じゅうたいです。
2 Wh+か ‘unidentified X’ and Wh+も‘all Xs’
Wh+か has a meaning of some. Wh+も has the meaning of all by itself; in combination with
a negative form, it means not...any.

何も+negative not...anything =nothing
だれか someone だれも+negative not...anybody = nobody
1. だれか来ましたか。
‘Did someone come?’
いいえ、だれも来ませんでした。
‘No, nobody came.’
