Vocabulary notes:
(i) ちょっとうかがいますが is used to a stranger. Avoid using it to someone you know.
(ii)しつもん means ‘question (to ask)’. しつもんがあります is used to ask a question to your teacher, etc. A simialr expression もんだいがあります means ‘there is a problem/complication (with something)’, もんだい meaning ‘problem (to solve).’
