OUR OWN BLOSSOM
In Our Own Blossoms, another year of gardening bloomed with 25 varieties of vegetables. The objective behind OOB is to learn the value of gardening skills that integrate with several subjects, such as Maths, Science, Art, Health and Physical Education. The practical, hands-on experience of gardening helped students to become independent and flexible thinkers. Students were involved in every step of the process from selection of crops, growing crops in a natural way and sustaining them. They also acquired the skills of harvesting healthy farm fresh veggies and reducing food miles, with their on-foot deliveries and also by organizing Our Own School market sale.
