SUMMER FIESTA
GEMS Our Own English High School, Dubai organized the summer camp in the month of July for the students of Grade KG 2 to Grade 9. The myriad activities of the Summer Fiesta kept children busy, honing their creative skills, engrossing them in the pursuit of new unexplored talents and making new friends in a stimulating environment. It was time to unwind and enjoy.
The young campers were actively engaged in activities like Fabric painting, Craftwork, Arabic Conversation, Dance, Public Speaking and Creative Writing skills. The Story Telling sessions engaged the students and strengthened their reading and listening skills.
The highlight of the camp was the FIFA Carnival which filled the young minds with vigor and enthusiasm. The new initiatives comprised of Characters Come Alive, Book Bound, Spellathon, Debate, Talent Contest, Thematic days like Yellow Color Day and Crazy Hat Day, Summer Fiesta prefects and Student of the Month. A spectacular Grand Finale was organized on 31 July 2018. A special invitation was extended to the grandparents too. The campers enthralled the audience with the melodious songs, zumba and dances. All participants received impressive gift hampers.
