Hiring A Seaside Wedding and Events to plan and coordinate my wedding day was the best decision we could have made because I had the honor to work with not only an amazing wedding planner, but also an amazing person, Krystal Duncan. We knew that we had not only found the right company, but also the perfect coordinator because of Krystal’s communication, problem solving and listening skills, authenticity, and literally being the “one stop shop” for all our wedding needs; which includes how to navigate a global pandemic. I could not have dreamed of a more perfect wedding day! Ben and I feel very lucky to have found A Seaside Wedding and Events and had the opportunity to work with Krystal.
Having an intimate beach wedding had been a dream of mine but I never thought I could execute it because it seemed too complicated. This was my mentality until I stumbled upon A Seaside Wedding and Events via a Google search. As I explored the website, I easily connected with one of the most amazing humans on this earth, Krystal. I worked directly with her from start to finish and am so grateful I did. She was the one-woman show who guided us through the entire wedding process and gave my husband and I the most amazing day (and week before) of our life. The day was perfect in every way possible. Ben and I glowed from the inside out and felt so full of love, joy, peace, and
laughter throughout the day (and week). Krystal’s professionalism and insight was unparalleled. When I had a concern, she would say “I have it covered. That’s what I’m here for.” I am so thankful for Krystal! She made Ben and I feel so special by taking care of everything you do and don’t think about as a bride or groom! She is a professional. I remember being told I looked like a very relaxed bride and yes, I was! Thank you Krystal for creating a perfect day. Even the weather, tide, and wind were perfect!
Krystal’s response time was prompt, her communication was flawless, and she understood exactly what I wanted even when I couldn’t explain it. I honestly didn’t believe I could do a beach wedding within our budget. However, Krystal’s experience and knowledge directed us exactly where we wanted to be. She delivered crystal clear communication regarding our options for wedding packages and vendors and she thoroughly explained her role in the whole process. She did everything I could have imagined to create not only a beautiful wedding day, but also a wonderful wedding week.
In addition to helping us execute the wedding of our dreams, she also provided emotional relief as we navigated the pandemic. Without Krystal, we could not have survived the stress of planning (and possibly re-planning) a wedding because
of the effects of COVID. She checked in on us the perfect amount and touched base each time the NC governor spoke. We lived in Ohio with family in Virginia, North Carolina, Washington DC and Colorado. So despite having a small wedding, gathering everyone was no easy task because of flights and travel. We talked with her weekly and she provided valuable insight into NC rules and regulations. She was with us every step of the way and always remained calm as a cucumber during this unprecedented time. She gave us the exact kind of support we needed during such an uncertain time. Without the presence of Krystal to help guide us through planning and having a wedding during a pandemic, we would not have made it to the beach and celebrated the best day of our lives, our wedding day, May 15, 2020. I could not have dreamed of a more wonderful week and day.
