  About Sanur
Bali Beach Hotel in Sanur was built by Indonesian President Sukarnoo in 1963, and boosted tourism in Bali. Prior to it only three hotels existed on the island. Construction of hotels and restaurants began to spread throughout Bali.
Today Sanur contains a number of hotel resorts such as the Fairmontt Sanur Beach Bali and Bali Hyatt (currently under renovation, not to be confused with the Grand Hyatt in Nusa Duat). Sanur is also home to a growing number of popular villa resorts. Indonesia is Southeast Asia’s largest, most populous country. But it’s stayed off the radar of most investors despite strong growth and an enormous consumer market.
The economy is rising at an impressive pace. A focus on infrastructure, manufacturing, and services has helped Indonesia average over 5% growth since the turn of the decade. This is one of the highest in the SEA region. Investment in Indonesia has skyrocketed both as a result and a cause of its resurgent growth. But it still hasn’t gotten the same attention as other large countries in the region like China and India. Much smaller nations like Thailand and Singapore are even seeing more foreign investment.
"This makes investing in Indonesia property ideal for those wanting to profit from the rise of one of the world’s future economic powerhouses."
Indonesia’s rise will truly begin once this happens. Those who act before will have access to a population of more than 250 million people – the fourth biggest in the world. They’ll also have an early start over the competition.
It’s a long term play and a fairly safe one. Multinational companies love setting up shop in dense, heavily-po- pulated countries. This gives them access to large consumer markets and makes their logistics easier too.
Real Estate Prices in Indonesia
The property prices on the island could hike by 12 percent in 2020 due to fluctuation in fuel prices in the market, according to a forecast by Bank Indonesia (BI) for Bali region.
“It is estimated that the market outlook for properties (primarily home) is still good, in line with the estimated increase of about 7 to 12 percent in prices,” Head of BI Bali Dewi Setyowati stated here on Sunday.
She explained that these predictions are influenced by several government policies that positively support businesses and employment.
