RE-STARTUP
2012
2015
FIX
Objective: Stabilise the situation and revisit everything.
In the wake of the previous CEO departure, 2015 has been a rough year. The priority was twofold: fix the situation and keep existing clients; review product / markets combination.
To do so, we maximised revenue by contracting people.
Turnover: EUR 389.096
2016
PROVE
Objective: Prove that the new business model works.
We need to get new business in the financial sector in The Netherlands. We need to get new business in the financial sector outside of The Netherlands. We need to get new business outside of the financial sector in or outside of The Netherlands.
Although the turnover remained almost stable, the revenue mix got much better as contracting revenue got replaced with software revenue.
2017
LEVERAGE
Objective: Prepare for further expansion on solid grounds: cover fixed costs with recurring revenue.
Q1 2017 brought the first black figures.
Pipeline is solid enough to achieve 80% - 110% of targets.
First wins against market leaders (b-wise, Mavim, Open Pages).
Projects are growing in size and complexity.
Target turnover: EUR 1.000.000
Background: Large fraud detection opportunity with JP Morgan Bank and initial investment with ETF.
In 2012, JP Morgan Bank selected ngCompliance to develop a full- scale pilot for global fraud detection. ETF invested, providing capital to develop the solution. The deal was ultimately not closed but this set the foundation for a very strong software platform. This turns ngCompliance in a very special investment opportunity, as the software platform is already fully mature.
