Longford took the lead through diarmuid Masterson which was responded to by a fantastic point from Murphy with 13 minutes left. Marren pointed a free on 59 minutes but Longford came back again through reynolds. Marren pointed another free with seven to go before Symth equalised again and he followed with a free which seemed like the winner. But four minutes into injury time, Sligo found the leveller.
