Leave Your Ego at the Door – Talk From Experience, Not Opinion
In 2015, I was invited to a business seminar held by the ASB bank. In business there’s a concept of ‘Who motivates the motivator?’ and I was hanging out to rub shoulders with like-minded people. I must admit, I didn’t know what I was getting myself into; I thought it was just a group that meets up and talks business. There I was, exposed to a group called Entrepreneurs’ Organisation (EO). EO is a worldwide group of business owners which has approximately 80 members here in New Zealand and 11,000 members in 48 countries. EO has been huge for me; in a short time helping me reach a higher business competence level as well as exposure for my company and myself.
I will talk about it in more detail shortly, but one huge bonus was that due to its business network, I ended up a finalist in the 2016 EY NZ
