have experienced this twice and also seen many small businesses move on to a new accountant and realise the previous accountant they were so dependent on wasn’t as good as they thought. I am not saying there are lots of bad accountants out there, as there are also different accountants for particular accounting, for example your accountant may be too high level for you and not as good with small business requirements as others may be. Or, you may not be willing to pay for the level of accounting you need, which can be a big mistake. Hopefully from reading my repeated message on strong accounting, you will know the level of service you need from an accountant.
