The Clear Route to Green Targets
For more than 25 years, UK-based Bowman Stor has been at the forefront of providing products for the treatment of air compressor condensate - a vital service to industries worldwide as they strive to meet their responsibilities for protecting the environment.
To further cement its status as a champion of eco- friendly solutions, Bowman Stor is proud to have achieved certification for the ISO 14001 environmental management standard for the de-sign, manufacture and supply of filters and filtration equipment.
The accreditation is an important milestone for the company behind the groundbreaking SEPURATM range of compressed air condensate filters. Bowman’s tireless development work in the field of oil/water separation has made a vast contribution to the endeavour for a cleaner environment for many years. For example, SEPURA units utilise a patented, filtration media known as SILEXATM. Whilst many filters unit companies use virgin materials, SILEXA is manufactured from recycled glass - a fully renewable and sustainable source. This unique filtration product - developed in Bowman’s own laboratories and only found in genuine SEPURA equipment - is able to yield oil/water output levels of lower than 10ppm.

The SEPURA range is manufactured at Bowman’s ISO9001-registered facility in Walsall and has also achieved DIBt approval for its core products (awarded by the globally-recognised German Institute for Construction Technology). The accreditation demonstrates that Bowman’s manufacturing and quality assurance systems are at the highest level and, in a market where conformance is paramount, assures users that SEPURA separators reach the exacting demands required by building control regulations.
Having recently passed it’s first quarter century of successful trading, Bowman continues to grow its product range, expand its global network and develop greener technologies to help in-dustries from many sectors to reach their environmental goals.
