This year marks a huge milestone for us - 40 years of Approved Hydraulics.
What began as a small workshop in 1985 has grown into one of the UK’s leading suppliers and manufacturers of hydraulic equipment, forestry attachments, and lorry loader accessories.
It’s been an incredible journey, and it’s all thanks to you — our loyal customers, hardworking team, and trusted partners. We couldn’t have reached this milestone without your support.
1985
Approved Hydraulics is founded by Geoff Hindle
at the age of 28 with a mission to deliver quality hydraulic solutions and exceptional customer service.
1990s
Expansion of workforce and workshops to address growing demands on repair and maintenance.
1998
Investment in in-house design, service, and testing facilities.
2000s
Introduction of exclusive partnerships with leading European manufacturers for grab attachments and rotators.
2020s
Launch of our own branded product ranges and continued innovation in hydraulic technology.
2025
To mark our 40th anniversary, we have undertaken
a comprehensive upgrade of our internal systems & website, and modernised our brand identity ensuring we are well positioned to lead and innovate for the next 40 years.
