PANDORA 2.0: The New Family Experience
In the year 2025 PANDORA 2.0 will be introduced
in the market for Parks and Funfairs.This compact ride is available in various capacities and can be easily themed. The first version was built with a 16 passengers capacity. The ride combines a new and interesting mix of movements using hydraulic energy stored in the hydraulic accumulator giving a boost to the elevation of the various arms.
The ride consists in a rotating center and one main column. Onto the main column 8 arms (or more) are attached.These arms can be lifted up to a height of 12 meters and at the end of each arm a 2 seater car is assembled through a bearing.Each car makes an oscillating movement created by the up and down movement of the arm while the centre is rotating at 10 rpm.
The arms are moving alternated up and down but can also work all together in the same direction. Each passenger unit has 2 seats with each a shoulder bar and redundant restraint system plus a pneumatic brake.The all is made on a main platform which can be made by the park out of concrete or can be built trailer mounted with a facade.
The ride has been upgraded and improved in a new 2.0 version resulting in a powerful and attractive new ride also available with more capaity for park versions.
