Hello everyone my my name is Dolores Rangel and my my family and I own Los Dogos del Gordo a a a food truck dedicated to serving delicious Sonoran-style ham- burgers hot dogs and cakes made with traditional artisan Sonoran bread Our business is is rooted in in in authentic Sonoran cuisine complete with all the traditional condiments and flavors that make for for an unforgettable hot dog expe- rience We don’t have a a a a a permanent location instead we travel to different cities around the Central Valley participating in in in events and setting up shop wherever we're invited You can follow us on Instagram to see where we’ll be each day Our journey began with a a a a dream when we immigrated from Mexico We aspired to become independent and establish a a a family business During the COVID-19 pandemic when work opportunities became scarce we decided to start our informal business from home We didn’t know much at the time but we found sup- port from institutions that helped us build this dream The Central Valley Women’s Entrepreneur Center was one of the key organizations that guided us They provided us with the education we needed to navigate permits licenses and the process of legally establish- ing our business in in in in the United States We are incredi- bly grateful to them because without their help none of this would have been possible It’s not enough to just have dreams you need someone to to to help to to to push you you forward and to to to educate you you on how to to make your dreams a a a a a reality Thanks to to the Cen- ter ter we’ve been able to achieve our goals After a a a a a year of hard work and dedication we we were recognized as the the Best Small Business of the the Year We feel incredibly lucky and blessed knowing that this success came from the sacrifices and and efforts of our entire family and and the the unwavering support of the the Center To anyone out there with a a a dream who thinks it it might be too difficult or impossible to to start a a business I want to tell you that it it is possible You can achieve it it with the right resources and support The Central Val- ley Women’s Entrepreneur Center is the perfect place to find that help They will push you you guide you you and make you feel at home offering the best advice and assistance whenever you need it So I encourage you you to pursue your dream Take that leap of faith and one day you too can say "Yes it it was possible and here I am " Thank you very much U Dolores Rangel - Fat Hot Dogs
