AANP reports that there will be 28 medical centers of excellence with naturopathic doctors on staff by the end of 2018, spanning academic, university-affiliated hospitals, integrative medical centers, large medical care systems, and specialty treatment centers.
Gerald Farnsworth, DC, ND, dies on October
15, 2018, in Kamloops, BC. One of the last living members of the era which bridged the difficult years of naturopathic medicine in North America. The profession mourns the loss and celebrates the life and legacy of one of the profession’s bright beacons, a central figure in rebuilding and sustaining the modern profession’s re-emergence a deeply dedicated naturopathic physician, a founding Board member of NCNM, and a pioneer in the profession of naturopathic medicine, to which he dedicated his life.

Whole Systems Healthcare, a 501(c)(3) umbrella organization dedicated to promoting health through the holistic application of systems science, receives a $20,000 unrestricted grant from the
