National Herbalists Association of New South Wales, Australia, founded; naturopaths constitute up to 90% of initial members. Established
with merger of the New South Wales Union
of Herbalists and the Medico-Botanic Eclectic Association NSW. In 1952, becomes National Herbalists Association of Australia merging with Queensland Association of Herbalists and South Australian Herbal Association. In 2016, name changes to Naturopaths and Herbalists Association of Australia.
