Chargers Giving Back Day — $12,500 Challenge Met and Surpassed!
Thanks to the generous suppor t of our community, Albuquerque Academy not only reached, but surpassed, the Chargers Giving Back Day Challenge for 2017!
Gifts made to the Annual Fund on Friday, May 12 totaled $65,108. Gifts came from 316 parents, alumni, parents of alumni, grandparents, faculty, and staff.These gifts, combined with the challenge match, resulted in $77,608 raised for the Annual Fund.
In addition to raising funds for the school, Chargers Giving Back Day also involves giving back to the community.This year, students also got involved, writing notes of appreciation to faculty, staff, friends, and others who have made their Academy experience wonderful and sharing what they love about their school on some big banners.
