To Our Baby Girl Maddie We are are so incredibly proud of of o the the young lady you you you you have have have have become Your dad and and I have have have have the the fondest memories of of o you you you you you you you and and and and and we have have have have have often said our our our little family will have have have have have one big hole in in in it it when you you you you you you you prepare to leave and and and and commence your your collegiate life Watching you you you you you you you and and and and the decisions you you you you you you you have have have have have made and and and and choices that have have have shaped who you you you you you you you you are are are make us feel so so successful as as parents As your your mom I I have have have often wished I I could shield you you you you you from hurt or or or those those times times when things did not turn out as as as you you you you you planned but you you you you you are are are are so so resilient those those times times never last more than a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a moment We are are are and always always will be here to to support our baby girl When you you you you were younger you you you you always always loved it when I would say “my eyes are are not big enough to to to see you” That sentiment holds true today You’ve never been afraid to to show your your your your creative side As a a a a a a a a a a a child growing up you you you you you created and and starred in in in your your your your very own “home plays” with with your your your your only audience members being your your your your dad and and me me me me me Admission to to the show in in in in our our our our “great room” even came with with a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a home-made movie tickets I’m so glad we we captured footage of those memories A few years ago we spent one Saturday morning in in in in in bed
watching all the old home movies of your childhood It’s amazing to to see that baby in in those videos grow up to be such a a a a a jewel Now our our Saturday mornings are are spent as a a a a a a a a a a a a family in in in the local coffee shops and and and creating more memories and and and conversations We share our our experiences and and and give you you advice that we hope will help you you continue to to make wise decisions The top of of the list is is is is is keeping Christ first Maddie I’ve tried to to drop that one bit of of advice every chance I I I get and and I I I can’t say it it it enough Your character and and tenacity will ensure your place in in in society but no no no matter where you you you are please remember success is is nothing without Christ first in in in your life He should be be at at at at the center of wherever you you you you settle and and and whatever you you you you do and and and I pray that that you you you you always remember that that and and and not forsake the assembly for for His name Our baby has grown into a a a a a a a a a a a beautiful young woman You are so kind
